Remote and tired
Comfortable bed and clean room. Pool and sun loungers
Very dated hotel with need for modernisation. Bathrooms not private as window is in the corridor. Rooms not sound proof and the noise from the road is very loud. Staff at reception friendly but when we asked how to get about they said taxi. We have visited Barbados many times and knew to take the reggae bus or local bus but they didn’t give this option. Just taxis as the answer - it felt like they were drumming up business for friends. The staff at the restaurant were rude, slow and uninterested in any form of hospitality. Over an hour for a cheese and tomato pizza at 2pm and forgot fries. Expensive compared to other food options and bad drinks expensive as well. The hotel is very remote and although on a beach it is run down area and the waves and rip are big, hence why the hotel has rocks across the back of it to protect.

Nice quiet hotel in a beautiful beach location with everything you need.
Food was excellent and staff really helpful and polite. They knew and took the trouble to speak to residents and did their utmost to make our stay as pleasant as possible.
Bathroom is quite basic. Would be a nice touch to have new towels which are a bit worn and a few more toiletries.
